How to Sponsor: Phone 01604 770872

Years Running: 5 (in March)

Number of Marathons Run: 1

Best Marathon Time: 5hrs 7mins 1sec

2004 Target Time: My target is to get to the start line injury free, and to complete the marathon before everyone leaves the pub!

Training Schedule: As I was late starting training, I am building up miles slowly, not necessarily following any schedule. It's important to me that I complete the marathon rather than a faster time.

Hints & Tips: Make sure you eat properly, get plenty of sleep and keep well hydrated. Listen to your body, rest days are important your body needs to recover from the longer runs.

NB: KEEP AWAY FROM ANY PARTY GAMES HOWEVER EASY THEY LOOK!

Other PBs: A PB for me is when I go out for any run and enjoy it, time isn't important - although if I have enjoyed the run and the time was good that's a bonus!

Favourite Distance & Why: Between 6 and 8 miles, not too far.

Best Race & Why: The marathon. I felt a great sense of achievement; it was something I had done by myself, (with 40,000 plus others).

Worst Race & Why: Can't decide which one, It hurts to think about them!
